Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Marcos Di Paolo began with his music studies at age seven, focusing on his main instrument, the guitar. From that time on he has studied with teachers of international renown such as Pedro Alcaraz and Tito Francia.
In 1994 he was admitted to the artistic department of the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, where he specialized on classical music, argentine and latin-american popular music and tango. His professional career started when he was seventeen years old, joining projects with many famous artists of the argentine scene.
